Wiltshire Cricket - Colourful Cricket Festival

On Sunday 15th September, Wiltshire Cricket hosted their first Colourful Cricket Festival.

This festival was held at Trowbridge CC with a Girls’ festival ran in the morning, followed by a women’s festival in the afternoon.

A total of ten teams joined in with lots of enthusiasm, especially when the paint throwing began! The paint used was Holi powder paint and after each game every player received a handful of powder to throw amongst their team (or over themselves as some decided).

Our trial for this festival turned out an amazing success with lots of positive feedback, we are looking to run this event in the 2025 season with hopefully many more teams looking to get involved. Congratulations and thankyou to all teams who participated in this day, and we hope to see you again next season!

Now that the outdoor season has come to an end, keep your eyes peeled for some winter festivals, Wiltshire Cricket are looking to host a Halloween “Glow in the Dark” festival as well as Women’s and Girls’ Indoor Cricket league.
