Congratulations to South Wilts CC who win Vitality under 13 T20 competition
Congratulations to South Wilts CC who defeated Potterne CC by 36 runs to win the 2024 Vitality Under 13 T20, in association with sponsors; Marlborough College.
Following a competition that started with 16 entrants, the Under 13 T20 competition culminated in a finals day hosted by sponsors Marlborough College at the College on Friday 28th June. Batting first was South Wilts who posted a strong 126-9, thanks to 33 retired from Hawley and 28 from Foot. For Potterne, there were 3 wickets for Palframan and 2 wickets apiece for Moxey and Langford.
In reply, Rudler (24) and Nickell (23) led the chase but thanks to figures of 4-11 for Foot and 3-2 from Osborn, Potterne could only manage 90 all out, leaving them defeated by 36 runs to the champions South Wilts who will now go on to represent Wiltshire in the regional stages of the competition.
