Avebury CC win Vitality Under 15 T20, in association with Thomas Porter Wealth Management!
Congratulations to Avebury CC who beat Biddestone CC to win the 2024 Vitality Under 15 T20 competition, supported by our sponsor Thomas Porter Wealth Management. Avebury CC will go on to represent Wiltshire in the regional finals of the competition.
The final, which took place on Wednesday 26th June, was hosted at Avebury CC and saw Biddestone bat first. Leading from the front was Tommy McArthur who retired with 52 and was well supported by Mathijs Inder-Rieden who scored 21 and George Wylie who also scored 21. For Avebury, wikcets were spread around as Biddestone finished on 129-7 from their 20 overs.
In reply, Avebury's chase was led by T King who retired on 51 and Zach Collister who finished on 40 not out as Avebury reached their target for the loss of 3 wickets with 9 balls to spare.
Following a competition that started with 16 entrants, congratulations go to both Avebury and Biddestone for reaching the finals stage. We now wish Avebury CC the very best as they move on to the regional stages of the competition against the Somerset winners on Sunday 7th July.
