ECB Grassroots Cricket Collective Awards - NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN!

In 2021, the ECB launched the new GRASSOOTS CRICKET AWARDS, replacing the previous OSCAs as the game’s Reward and Recognition scheme for our outstanding network of volunteers. For the last two years we have recognised many fantastic volunteers through these awards and with that in mind I am delighted to confirm the launch of the 2023 GRASSROOTS CRICKET COLLECTIVE AWARDS.

Nominate someone from your club!

We now really urge as many clubs as possible to think about those amazing volunteers from your club, who would be fully deserving of recognition via one of the above categories. In doing this, perhaps take a look at the winners from previous years to see some of the volunteers we have already been able to recognise:

If you would like to nominate someone from your club, association or networks for a Grassroots Cricket Collective Award please note that the Wiltshire Cricket deadline for nominations is 5pm on Friday 21st July. Following this, a panel of Wiltshire Cricket Board and Staff members will be meeting to review nominations ahead of announcing a shortlist who will be invited to a Wiltshire Cricket thank you event in the Autumn. Additionally, winners will be submitted to the ECB for considerations in the national awards.

To assist you in establishing which category might suit your volunteers the most, please find attached some more detailed criteria for each category.

Please also find the nomination form that needs to be completed and returned to me ([email protected]) via email by 21st July.

Wiltshire Cricket looks forward to receiving the nominations from your club
