Wiltshire Cricket launches Wiltshire Women's Seniors Cricket!
Women’s Cricket continues to become more popular each year, and with that in mind we are delighted to share another opportunity within the Women’s game in Wiltshire – Women’s Senior Cricket.
If you are reading this, please forward this onto players/members who may be interested in Wiltshire Senior Women’s Cricket.
Wiltshire Cricket has a thriving and growing Seniors Club. Currently, the Wiltshire Seniors offer two teams playing in the 50+, 60+ and 70+ age groups. All teams play in formal leagues against other southern and south-western counties and each have had some notable successes in previous seasons.
Wiltshire Cricket has made a significant commitment to developing the senior teams. The Wiltshire Cricket strategy for 2020-2024 sets out the aspiration for a Women’s Senior team and additional Men’s teams at 60+ and 70+ in the coming seasons, as well as encouraging those over 40 years old to continue playing, return to the game or take it up for the first time.
With Women's Cricket continuing to become more popular each season, the Wiltshire Seniors would like to establish a new Women's Senior team.
As such, we'd like to hear from anybody who would be interested in representing the new Wiltshire Senior Women's Team in 2023.
Everybody is welcome and no previous playing experience is required, so whether you've played soft ball cricket, hard ball cricket or perhaps want to pick a bat up for the first time, we'd like to hear from you!
If you would be interested in Wiltshire Senior Women’s Cricket, please express an interest using the form below.
We hope to arrange some cricket opportunities for the 2023 season and so please do share this opportunity with other like-minded people.
