FREE Cricket roadshows available to all Wiltshire and Swindon primary schools!

Through our partner Chance to Shine, Wiltshire Cricket is delighted to be offering an opportunity for any primary school in the county to receive a FREE cricket roadshow visit from one of our community coaches.

Following on from the hugely successful cricket roadshow programme run during the last two Springs, Wiltshire Cricket are delighted to announce the dates for our programme of visit’s to promote both:

All Stars Cricket - ECB's national programme for 5 to 8 year olds, and
The *NEW* Dynamos Cricket programme for 8 to 11 year olds

For schools throughout Wiltshire we want to to ensure that you and your pupils get to hear about the programmes taking place this summer.

All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket are not school based activities but instead are cricket club based programmes that will take place during May, June and July 2020. The programmes aim:

To use cricket to engage with a younger audience to look to create a life long love for the game
To help clubs to upskill parents to help them to engage with their children’s development through the medium of skills and playing games.

The All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket sessions will be organised, advertised and delivered by local cricket clubs.

However Wiltshire Cricket would like to give these clubs some help in promoting their sessions through our network of primary school contacts.

From January 2020 onwards, our coaches will be travelling around the county, delivering sessions for our FREE publicity tour of Wiltshire. The visits will include an assembly with the remaining 90 minutes to deliver taster sessions from our All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket Champion; Aled Evans.

A reminder that these FREE school roadshow visits will include the delivery of an assembly followed by the opportunity to deliver taster sessions to both KS1 and KS2 children.
