Corsham CC win Vitality U15 Club T20 competition in Wiltshire
Congratulations to Corsham CC on winning the county final stage of the ECB Vitality U15 T20, defeating Potterne by 4 wickets.
The Vitality Under 15 Club T20 is a national competition which starts with local county rounds before progressing in to regional and then national final stages. The Wiltshire competition started this year with 7 teams and reached county final stage on Wednesday 27th June.
In the final, Potterne batted first and scored a very competitive 159-4 from their 20 overs with Bryce Furlong hitting 52 not out and Ethan Hutchins 47 not out. For Corsham Lily Day took 2-33.
In reply, Corsham were led by Ed Vickery who hit 53 retired to lead Corsham to victory with 2 balls to spare. He was ably supported by Flynn Day who scored 34. For Potterne Bryce Furlong took 3-24 and Sean Montgomery 2-32.
Corsham will now go on to represent Wiltshire in the regional final stage against Dorset winners, Parley, on Sunday 8th July.
