Institute of Groundsmanship (IOG)
The Institute of Groundsmanship is the only organisation that represents the whole of the grounds management industry and all those involved in it. It aims to offer support and advice to all those working in the industry and strives to raise the profile of the profession. The IOG works closely with governing bodies such as the ECB to provide training courses and to ensure that quality standards are being met.

During 2007 the WGA is running courses in association with the IOG. The Level 1 Part A course ran at Devizes CC on Sunday 18 March with the Level 1 Part B due to run on Sunday 23 September, again at Devizes CC.
