Bolt-on Courses for Coaches
Bolt-on Courses are additional courses that sit side-by-side with coaching courses; they are mandatory courses that need to be attended in order to become - or remain - fully qualified as a coach. Currently, there are two courses that all coaches need to have attended, for details please click on the name of the course.
- Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop
- First Aid or Emergency Response Course
During 2006/7 we ran these bolt-on courses alongside each of the Coach Education courses in order to group all of the courses closely together and to make it easy for candidates to find a First Aid or Child Protection course if needed. This was a successful way of running the bolt-on courses and is the same way we are running the courses for 2007/2008.
