Adult Cricket
Whilst youth cricket and the development of youngsters is a primary focus for the Wiltshire Cricket Board, we are also committed to offering the best cricketing opportunities possible to adults within the county. This is one of the reasons for which we work with clubs to help them secure funding that can be used to help improve facilities. Also, a lot of Clubmark and Focus Club work is not centred entirely around improving provision of youth cricket but is also directed towards making clubs eligible for certain types of grants or machinery funding that can help with the provision of adult cricket as well as youth cricket.
The pinnacle of Adult Cricket within the County is obviously to play for the Wiltshire County Cricket Club. To ensure that this side is full of top class performers year in year out we must endeavour to organise and produce high quality leagues and fixtures.
The Adult Cricket that is on offer within Wiltshire is fantastic for any newcomer who wants to play or for a young player who is starting his adult playing career. A large proportion of clubs run up to 4 teams catering for all ability levels and desired standards.
